# License
Use the *License* tab to manage licenses for the Query Service.
Licenses are applied to a specific server hosting an instance of the WireBootstrap Query Service. Licenses default to the *LITE* edition. To upgrade to another addition, click the *Upgrade* button.
## Activating a License
Once a purchase has been made, a temporary key will be sent to the email address used to make the purchase.
Copy the temporary key out of the email.
Next, enter the key and email address on this form and click *Activate* to active the license on the server.
If the activation is successful, the service license will be applied.
